Hittaut is a complimentary recreational activity in Sweden that involves navigating to checkpoints using a map.

• The map is available in both physical form and in the Hittaut mobile app.
• Checkpoints are strategically placed in urban settings and forests near towns. Explore at your own pace, in any order you prefer.
• Inexperienced in orienteering? Fear not – checkpoints come in four different levels of difficulty. Begin with the green ones and utilize GPS assistance.
• Many checkpoints are suitable for access with strollers, wheelchairs, permobiles, walkers, bikes, and similar aids.
• Create a Hittaut account and log the alphabetic codes found at each checkpoint. This automatically enrolls you in prize draws.
• Challenge a friend, colleague, or family member to join you in the Hittaut experience and track your progress on the leaderboards.
• The duration of the Hittaut season varies by location but typically extends throughout the summer months.
